1978年,世界上**台SAR测量仪器诞生于Motorola公司
90年代开始出现商用SAR测量仪
2003年3月21日IEEE 对SAR测量方法做了新规定(IEEE P1528/D1.2) 。同年,EMF Safety公司根据此标准由汉城大学Gimm教授同Motorola当年设计**台SAR测量仪器的工程师主持,改进推出了ESSAY-3型SAR测量系统。
